It gives me great pleasure to welcome you to our school website, which I hope will give you a flavour of our school and its community. If you are a new or prospective parent considering our school for your child, please make an appointment and I will be very pleased to show you around and answer any queries that you may have. I look forward to meeting you and your child.
Newbold is a very special place for children to learn, achieve and develop. Our children are at the centre of everything we do, which reflects our warm and welcoming family atmosphere, our Christian values and our commitment to mutual respect, care and understanding. We aim to provide a safe, happy, stimulating and challenging environment where each child feels valued, respected and confident in achieving and often exceeding their potential.
As a village school, we very much value the importance of supporting the individual needs of every child. In small class sizes, we can ensure that each child is able to progress well and is effectively supported in their learning. We are also very fortunate to enjoy a wonderful and extensive outdoor learning environment, really extending the opportunities or exploration, challenge and enjoyment.
We believe that our success is dependent upon a close partnership with parents and carers. We encourage our parents to become actively involved in the life of the school, working with us to ensure that we provide the best possible education for our children.
The staff and the children are very proud of our school and we always strive to make it an even better place where we can learn and achieve together. If you are considering Newbold for your child, we would very much encourage you to come and visit, where you and most importantly your child can see for themselves what our school is all about and we can answer any questions you may have.
Yours sincerely

Earlier last week, we had a special visit from Vicky, who shared the incredible, lifesaving work of The Air Ambulance Service. During the assembly, the children learned about a free to join children’s club called #TheCrew. Should your child wish to join or if you’d like to learn more, please visit https://theairambulanceservice.org.uk/childrens-air-ambulance/the-crew/
Thank you very much to Mrs Laver who brought her 100 year old teddy bear to school to share her stories including being sunk on an evacuee ship during World War II.
Well done to this week's superstar children.
